It is a great privilege to teach and share T’ai Chi Chih, Seijaku and the meditation practices I learned from Justin Stone, the originator of T’ai Chih Chih, in class, workshop and retreat format. Time spent together exploring and sinking into essence with eager and open participants encourages a connection within the individual and among the entire group that can be deeply nourishing, healing and motivating.

- Beginners’ Classes -
T’ai Chi Chih for Beginners - 6 Weeks (at the Jewish Community Center, 5520 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Abq., NM 87109)
Saturdays, Aug. 15 - Sept. 26, 12:00pm - 1:00pm (no class Sept. 12)
Cost: $75 Members; $100 Non-members.

“T’ai Chi” (T’ai Chi Chih) Two 1/2-Semester Courses, Fall 2026 - 1 Credit (at the University of New Mexico, Johnson Center) Mondays & Wednesdays, 10:00am - 10:50am. 1H: Aug. 16 - Oct. 6 (1440-001); 2H: Oct. 12 - Dec. 9, 2026 (1440-002) Open to all UNM Students, Staff, Faculty and Alumni and anyone over 65 if space remains.

Open to anyone who is familiar with the entire 19 Movement - 1 Pose T’ai Chi Chih form and is eager to go deeper.

Seijaku - Advanced T’ai Chi Chih (6 Sessions - meets every other week) (at the T’ai Chi Chih Center, 2132 Osuna Rd. NE, Suite C, Abq., NM 87113-1460) Open to all T’ai Chi Chih teachers and students who have been practicing TCC longer than 1 year. Cost $179 Please email Amy Tyksinski to inquire about the next Seijaku session (likely to start in early 2027).

- Zoom Classes -
2026-27 New & Returning T’ai Chi Chih Teachers’ Teaching Group. Open to TCC Teachers Accredited from 2020-Present as well as any accredited TCC Teacher wishing to jumpstart or invigorate their teaching. Once a month for 6 months starting August 2026 - February 2027 (no meeting December 2026). Link to Flyer.

Motion & Stillness: A One-day hybrid T’ai Chi Chih & Meditation Retreat At the T’ai Chi Chih Center (in-person) and on Zoom (remotely) This retreat will be a hybrid model open to in-person participants as well as those participating through Zoom. Open to anyone familiar with the full T’ai Chi Chih form who also has an intention of developing or deepening a seated meditation practice. No prior seated meditation experience needed.
